  • My nursing bra:

Bravado Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra

“ This bra seems pretty comfy, but the band sizing is a bit off. I went with a small because the cups fit me better (and it was the recommended size according to Bravado's size chart), yet hooking the band on the last row of hooks still feels too tight. I ended up having to buy some 3-hook bra extenders to remedy the problem. Also, at around $50 a pop, it's spendy for a nursing bra. I may or may not return it, depending on how it feels with the extender. ”

  • My nursing bra:

    Basics by Bravado Stella

“ The most comfortable nursing bra I've tried on to date. I love the whole Basics by Bravado line. They have the Stella (pictured), the Emma nursing sleep bra, and Felicity nursing cami. All are focused on comfort, ease of use and affordability. I couldn't help but buy all three at Target this week - they are such a relief from the bras I've been wearing! Each is made of really soft, stretchy fabric. There seems to be easy access for breastfeeding, but I'll have to update my review after I've actually given birth and used them for their intended purpose. For now, they are all fantastic prenatal wear. ”

  • My nursing bra:

La Leche League Wrap N Snap 4101

“ I haven't actually used this as a nursing bra yet since I have two months until the baby's due, but I've been wearing it recently because my normal bras no longer fit. I bought two, and the plain brown one is made out of a really soft, comfortable fabric. The printed floral one, however, is not as cozy - possibly because the stamped on print makes the fabric stiffer. I do like the snap front band closure that allows you to adjust the width around the chest, and the flip down fronts give quick and easy access for nursing. We'll see how it fares when it's actually put to use. ”

  • My automobile:

    2005 Scion xB

“ Love this little car. It's zippy, perfectly proportioned for my 5'1" frame, and can hold huge amounts of stuff in the boxy interior. We've taken it on road trips to Black Rock City, Zion, Yellowstone, Montana and beyond... and it still runs great. Great for singletons, and, I'm assuming, great for moms! ”

  • My toaster oven:

Krups FBC2 1600 Watts Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking

“ Simple to use, and big enough to accommodate a pizza from Trader Joe's! The door hinge has gone a little wonky over the years, but no other problems.

I'd line the bottom pan with foil; otherwise you'll get baked on gunk that leaves permanent disgusting black residue from your latest greasy cheesy escapade. While you're at it, line all your bake pans with foil or parchment paper with every use; it'll save your pans so your home doesn't end up looking like some messy college bachelor pad. Last tip: if some bit of food falls onto the heating elements on the bottom, make sure to clean it up immediately. Otherwise it will continue to bake with every usage and give off a nasty chemical odor. ”

  • My flat screen TV:

Panasonic TC-P42C2 42 in. Plasma TV

“ This thing is larger than life, so make sure you have enough room and the proper distance to view it from. Friends and family enjoy coming over to watch it because it gives a big screen, movie theater like feel. Only complaint: if you use it to hook up to your computer, the resolution and colors can be hard to get right. ”

  • My sewing machine:

    Brother XL3750 Mechanical Sewing Machine

“ Decent, cheap machine. I got it on sale at Target, and it runs pretty smoothly with the occasional snafus related to tension. (This may be in part because I sometimes have no clue what I'm doing...) ”

  • My refrigerator:

    2456

“ Your standard fridge. I have no idea how much energy this thing is sucking up on a monthly basis, but it keeps our food cold and/or frozen and is relatively simple to clean. ”

  • My smartphone:

    LG smartphone

“ I have the original Neon. Decent sound quality, camera, and relatively simple to use. I originally sought it out when it was time to upgrade with AT&T because I wanted a full keyboard, but now that I have it I find I miss T9 (it actually seems more tedious to type on the full keypad). This thing was resurrected from the dead last year when I accidentally drowned it in my purse with a full bottle of water, and it's still going strong. Tip: sticking a wet phone in a bag of rice really does help! ”

  • My blender:

    Krups blender

“ Older model, but it still works well. The only issue I have with it is the bottom sometimes leaks... not sure if this is because the seal on the screw on base is wearing down or what. ”

  • My digital camera:

    PowerShot S95 Digital Camera

“ Great little camera. Clear, crisp photos with good color accuracy, and lots of little additional functions to boot. I feel like I've only scratched the surface of its abilities, but have been taking loads of photos and videos since we purchased it last year. Battery life is beyond decent, and it's a cinch to use! ”

  • My keyboard:

    Apple Wireless Keyboard

“ Easy to use and extremely handy. We have ours hooked up to our mac mini, and it works like a dream. ”

  • My dishwasher:

    Bosch SHE6AP05UC 24 in. Built-in Dishwasher

“ Pros - quiet, dries dishes efficiently and energy efficiently!
Cons - I hear you have to clean the filter because food builds up after a while and it will smell.

It's been 2.5 weeks, and we love this machine so far! Yes, the dishes don't come out completely dry, but air drying is a plus in our household. :) ”
