  • ssan lee is in the market for a game console

    I want to play God of War 3 on a PlayStation2...but it's for PS3 only. I have a PS2. Any ideas to play this game in PS2...?

    Artur Rivilis: Unfortunately it is not possible. The game is produced by Sony and made only for PS3. The PS2's CPU clocks at 294 Mhz vs. PS3's 3.2 Ghz so it wouldn't be physically possible to play the game on inferior hardware without the game's graphics being downgraded specifically for PS2.

    Andy Hilal: Yeah God of War 3 is made by Sony themselves, and they want you to buy the latest hardware. It's not supported on PS2 and I bet they went out of their way to ensure it couldn't even be modded or hacked.

    This is one of the ways that they drive adoption of the newest platform. Sorry :(
